EUKALIN UV-C HMPSA - efficient and adaptable
UV-C-curable hotmelt pressure sensitive adhesives (UV-C HMPSA) are – according to their name – surface sticky adhesives whose internal strength (cohesion) can be significantly increased by UV radiation (mercury lamp). These mainly acrylate-based formulations already replace solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives in many cases. In addition to the advantages of standard hotmelt pressure sensitive adhesives based on synthetic rubber or water-based dispersions, subsequent curing with UV radiation provides additional possibilities such as higher thermal or chemical resistance – without the use of an inert gas atmosphere.
UV-C HMPSA from EUKALIN are highly transparent, resistant to a variety of chemicals / plasticizers and are also suitable for sensitive applications due to covalent-bonded photoinitiators.
